How It Works
From logging in to topping the leaderboard — nine real round types from the SpeedQuizzing app, one phone per team, and ten seconds to lock in every answer.

Download & Connect
You've downloaded the free SpeedQuizzing app and connected to the venue's private "Quiz" Wi-Fi. Enter your team name, hit Connect, then scroll through our extensive selection of team buzzers and pick your sound. You're ready to play.
First Letter
Type The Opening Letter
The host reads the question aloud — it appears on your device too, which is where you submit your answer. For First Letter rounds, enter the first letter of the answer. But ignore "The", "A" or "An" if the answer begins with one of those!
Multiple Choice
Tap The Right Answer
For Multiple Choice, just tap the answer you think is correct. There could be two, three, four, five or even six options on screen — so weigh them up and tap fast before the timer runs out.
Numbers
Enter The Digits
What number? How many? What year? If the answer is a number, enter the digits and press enter. For a year, it must be all four digits — no shortcuts.
Multi Tap
Tap All, Miss None
Similar to Multiple Choice, but trickier: with Multi Tap you must tap ALL of the correct answers — and NONE of the incorrect ones. One wrong tap and you lose the points.
Sequence
Put Them In Order
With Sequence questions you have to get a list of items into the correct order — first to last, biggest to smallest, oldest to newest. Arrange them before the clock runs out.
Picture
Look & Answer
Look at the picture on screen, listen to the question, then tap the picture to bring back the keypad and submit your answer. It could be First Letter, Multiple Choice, Number, Sequence or Multi Tap — the format changes, the picture stays.
Buzzer
Be First To Buzz
In our Buzzer round, you have to be the first team to tap your screen to buzz in! Tell the host your answer at your table, then the other teams either tap their screens to agree or leave them untouched to disagree. Points are won or lost based on whether you're right or wrong.

Live Leaderboard
At the end of each round, everyone's scores are revealed! Now you know whether to feel smug at your success or determined to improve. But be warned... smugness never pays off in SpeedQuizzing.

Sequence
